Curacao is a holiday destination that offers something for everyone.ย The self-governing territory of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Curacao is a tropical paradise located in the southern part of the Caribbean Sea.ย It is part of the "ABC" group of islands and is located outside the hurricane belt.

This small and isolated island boasts a population of people of different nationalities who in the past in search of a better life gradually inhabited the island.ย Curacao is an intoxicating mixture of Dutch architecture and the nature of the island, with locals who speak their unique language - Papiamento, a strange mixture of Spanish, Portuguese, English, Dutch and several others. The capital, Willemstad, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architecture, design and historical buildings.

The island is dry, and the shores are bordered by rocky coves, steep cliffs and hidden coves.ย A number of beaches are tucked away in small coves, surrounded by limestone formations.ย Curacao has served as a cultural crossroads for centuries and today is home to about 50 nationalities.ย Descendants of the first Dutch settlers, Portuguese Jews and African slaves, who found themselves on the shores of this island several centuries ago, mixed with residents whose roots go back to North and South America, the Far and Middle East, and the rest of Europe.

Curacao has 38 beaches.ย The island is ideal for various sports, such as swimming, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, fishing, diving.ย The underwater park of the island of Curacao is a series of protected reefs, which stretch along the southern coast, offering divers the opportunity to see beautiful corals, beautiful fish and ship wrecks.

Curacao is a tropical destination ideal all year round. The period from October to February is considered the rainy season, but the rains are usually short and fall at night, while the days remain sunny. Also, Curacao is outside the hurricane zone, so storms are rarely a problem. The most popular time to visit is from December to April, and the rest of the year is the low season, when prices are much lower. The carnival season, from January to February, is very popular and that is when it is most crowded.

Pack your suitcases and discover why Curacao is a tourist paradise!
