Often hailed as the best diving destination on the planet, Palau is an island country with a coral reef, turquoise water, World War II wrecks hidden in the depths, underwater caves and tunnels, as well as some of the most attractive rare fish species.

It encompasses low coral islands in the south and higher islands of volcanic origin in the north. Only eight islands are inhabited by a total of about three hundred and have a total population of 20,000. If you love nature, wilderness, but do not run away from luxury, then this island country is the ideal destination for you.

If you rent a kayak, because there are organized tours to tour the island, you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the coral reefs and fish that will surround you while driving. Incredibly calm and shallow lagoons will remain in your unforgettable memory. The peace you feel on these islands is unreal.

Koror Island is the busiest in the archipelago. It is the busiest and commercial center, as well as the former capital of the Republic of Palau. It is also connected by a bridge to the international airport, which is located on the neighboring island of Babeldaob. That is why most passengers choose the base to stay on the Koror Island. The city is well supplied and has many restaurants, accommodation facilities, diving centers and travel agencies.

Babeldaob is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, diving and relaxing, because this is a place to reset thoughts. Apart from water and underwater ativities, there are also attractions you can visit, such as monoliths and ruins scattered throughout the island.

Take a trip and visit Jellyfish Lake on Eil Malk Island. The lake is specific because it lacks oxygen and is therefore inhabited by many unusual organisms. Tourists are fascinated by golden and moon jellyfish, which are a sight that is very rare in the world.

Palau is the first country to create a shark reserve. More than a decade ago, they banned shark hunting, of which there are more than 130 different species. The reserve is huge, the size of France, and is a real attraction.

Spring is full of festivals and is an interesting time to visit. February and March are dry months, and during the period from June to August, the most storms occur. Although Palau lies outside the main typhoon line, they still occur occasionally.

Palau is a paradise island, just waiting to be discovered.
